It wasn’t on the original schedule, but this November saw a special request trip to Lago di Como in Italy. And from that will evolve a new idea for short getaways in 2014. Thank you to Bruce, who started it all, and to Chantal, Heidi, Walti and Christine who thought November was a perfectly logical time to row in Bellagio and Como. We had a first row in cool, cloudy, windy weather when the coastal quad and double proved their worth in the waves. Our reward was a second row from Bellagio in warmth and brilliant sunshine on flat water and a similar day in Como when we joined Paulo, Gianni, Riccardo and Marco from Lario in the beautiful historic eight. Seems Bellagio is a perfect place for a short break. Watch for details as this concept is developed in 2014.
