What does a rowing image say to us?

Moment of repose and wonder

So many of the photos of rowing that we see show intense action, power, perhaps victory or a slump in defeat, and often determination and pain. This image is very different, but it also illustrates what rowing can mean. Taken on the recent Crystal Blue Rowing Tour in Austria, it shows magnificent scenery with a moment of repose, tranquility and I believe wonder. This too is what rowing can give us. Isn’t it a wonderful sport!
