Best Rowing Dogs Part III

If you follow us on Instagram or Facebook you know that we have a soft spot for all sorts of rowing pups. Boathouse dogs, regatta dogs, support boat dogs – we love them all. We share them on social media almost every Friday, and even created two blogposts featuring the ones that stole our hearts (part 1 and part 2). Now, 2022 is over, and we think it is time for part 3!

Here are some our favourite pups we met online last year:

Here is Jess, a rescue German Shepherd from the UK. She enjoys hiking, swimming and passing on her coaching advice to every rowing crew she meets (even if she has to chase them!).

Cape Cod Youth Rowing team from Massachustets has no shortage of cute fluffy coaches and mascots. Meet Bodhi and Stormy, resident coaches:

And a couple of visiting coaches are absolutely necessary!

Nala, a Golden Irish mix from Amsterdam, does not have a lot of coaching experience yet (she was only born in April of last year), but she certainly seems to be putting in effort!

Another pup just starting out in Potomac Boat Club is Jaskier (any Witcher book series fans out there?), English Cocker Spaniel. Absolutely adorable, and we can tell that he is a quick learner!

Cheering on shore is Winnie, Mini Blue Merle Australian Shepherd from Washington. Just look at that smile (you better always do well, Sammamish Rowing).

Another regatta fan is L.C., Australian born, German based bulldog. She does take an occasional coaching gig from time to time, but mostly prefers all the regatta treats and pats.

And the honourable mention goes to Cypress, a German Shepherd pup, who caused the most adorable disturbance ever at Dad Vail Regatta. No one could be mad, honestly.

If you know or have a rowing pup of your own, share photos in the comments or send us a social media link! We would love to feature more rowing pups and follow their adventures!
